There is a fine line, between the edgy art that VOLO showcases and the big bad world of porn… Truth to be told, we continuosly toe that line in a way where we can give the most independence to our artists while keeping our magazine at the pinnacle of artistic expression.
How do we do it? All you have to do is talk to some of our photographers… And they will tell you the lengths that the VOLO team goes to make sure that every photographers work is showcased in the best possible way. Editing content, working with them to define, shoot and re-shoot pictures till it fits the weird and unique slot of ‘Truly VOLO’.
This effort and the results make me personally proud of our contribution to the nude art scene at a global level. We have discovered innumerable artists who have not only delivered great content, but improved their work immensely under the watchful eyes of the team here at VOLO Magazine.
There are a lot of great photographers featured in this issue, but I would like to take a moment to talk about a special artist, someone whose career as a photographer has spanned over 30 years… Someone who has done it all on the biggest stage and now has embarked on a journey of art photography. I would like to welcome Anthony Neste to the VOLO Family. Anthony’s passion for his work is unparalleled and we at VOLO are very excited to partner with him in many ways to further his photography and our magazine together like a team sport.
The cover of this issue is shot by none other than Cam Attree, the Australian grandmaster. Seven more incredibly talented photographers present their work in this issue.
I also want to announce the VOLO LIST. A special issue which we will be releasing in 2015, which will list and profile the TOP 100 art nude photographers alived today!
The only question now is…ARE YOU ON THE LIST?
