I was born and raised in Pasadena, CA. I went to High Point Academy for junior high and than an all girls private Catholic school, Mayfield Senior School, for high school. I grew up with five brothers and sisters all from different marriages of different ethnicity including Chinese, Colombian, African American, and Japanese. I speak three languages including Spanish and conversational mandarin. When I was a kid, I wanted to be an actress when I grew up. As soon as I started college, I was in and out of the hospital with a gene called HLA-B27, which caused a lot of autoimmune responses. After that, I could not see myself doing anything else, but becoming a nurse.
I went on to nursing school, but on my journey got an incredible job being a VP of sales for a jewelry company. I traveled to many different countries including Spain, France, China, Philippines and Aruba. This put my dream in the medical field on hold. I started modeling the jewelry I sold and from there my career in modeling soared. I have been incredibly lucky to be the canvas of the many thirty different photographers I have shot with from then on.
After leaving the jewelry company for Insomniac, I then decided to go back to nursing school. I start school in May and plan on modeling as a hobby along with my passion for piano, soul cycle and seeing more of this beautiful world.”

“I am Rob Gray, I was born and raised in a small town in Upstate, NY. I went to college and earned a Masters degree in Education. I taught high school for 12 years (including photography courses). I moved to Southern California in 2012 and earned another Masters degree in Management. It is my goal to open my own photography studios throughout the U.S.
I love photography because no matter what happens in life, the moments captured with my camera, last forever. I find that most people who are being photographed, enjoy seeing themselves through the photos. It gives them a different perspective on themselves and often boosts self-confidence. Volo is my favorite magazine because it allows artists to come together to create the kind of art that makes you want to look at the photos over and over. It is a celebration of the human body and the beauty of living with what you have.
Being a photographer allows me to share in the most intimate of moments with models. It lets me in on how they feel on the inside and I enjoy helping them express that through their facial and body expressions. Being a photographer gives me the personal satisfaction of helping others accomplish their goals, while at the same time, accomplishing my own. There is nothing I would rather do!”
