“I have worked with many models and Zara Watson is, in my opinion, pure Volo. She is natural, characterful, sexy and stunning. The red against her skin is provocative and alluring. She does her own hair and makeup.”

“I am a full-time professional model & have been modeling for about 15 years now. There is never a day goes by when I don’t feel grateful to have a job I genuinely love and am so passionate about. Over the years I have learned a lot and so feel I am very experienced. I have never been to a modeling school or class, but have learned from years of practice, making mistakes, self-criticism and remembering what not to do next time! , and am still always striving to improve and push me creatively.
The years and practice have enabled me to feel very confident in front of the camera and very self-aware of my every move, angle, where the light is, fluidity, expression etc. However, once the camera is not pointing at me… I’m actually not this big confident person that comes alive to the camera at all (I’m back in my slippers!) I guess the lens is my stage where I perform, and I love it! The more expressive or interesting I can make myself in front of the camera the better. In terms of styles, I model everything from fashion/ editorial, beauty/ hair, commercial, bridal to lingerie and nude.
Stephen and I just ‘clicked’ when we started working together which is why we are now dating.”

“I was inspired from a young age by the likes of Helmut Newton, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and Albert Watson and I was lucky enough to assist the late, great Terence Donovan for 3 years. Donovan’s work ranged from pop video’s for Robert Palmer (‘Addicted to Love’) to regular fashion editorials for Vogue and Harpers Bazaar.
I was one of the main photographers at the beginning of the Loaded and lads mag era. I produced the best selling cover of any men’s magazine for its time (Joanne Guest) and continued to shoot girls and celebrities for the most progressive and characterful magazine ever.
Since the Lads Mag era, I have concentrated on portraiture and Celebrity work and produced pictures for Who Do You Think You Are and other TV shows. Looking to teach photography workshops I approached Zara Watson in 2014 to ask if she modeled for workshops as I loved her look. We hit it off and started to date after a year. She is my absolute muse and if I could photograph one person for the rest of my life it would be her.
She is my model of choice when I teach model photography and I now teach on a 1-2-1 basis as I can see what style might suit each individual I teach. Every photographer must have their own creativity rather than just copy someone else.
My work ranges from celebrity portraits, private and commercial portraiture, cars, corporate work, and interiors. I am currently putting together a sales site which will be the focus of my sexier work to sell prints from .. including pictures of Zara of course. I have experienced the film era in all it’s glory – and expense and now embracing the digital era with the control that comes with it.”
